Taras Voloshyn

Born on September 26, 1984 in Lviv.

Dr. Voloshyn graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the D. Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. From 2007 to 2009, he completed his internship in neurology at the Rivne Central District Hospital and the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital. He worked as a doctor’s assistant at the Emergency Medical Services in Lviv.

He has been a correspondent-member of the European and Eastern European Academies of Childhood Disability.

He has been working at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation(now Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic) since March, 2009. Dr. Voloshyn has published many papers. He has taken part in Ukrainian and international congresses and symposiums. He is in charge of collaboration with the Karolinska Institute (Sweden), namely work on the international scale evaluating the severity of cerebral palsy (GMFCS), hand functions (MACS), video recordings of gross motor functions (GMFM), and questions related to research and the scientific effectiveness of the Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation System.
